Ball State’s University Choral Union

Course Description

Ball State's University Choral Union is motivated by the wealth of information that affirms the many physical, mental, social, and emotional benefits of choral singing to include broader access to this activity on the Ball State campus. In addition, our entire community can benefit from intergenerational, cooperative activities. We are working to make this ensemble a truly UNIVERSITY choral UNION. Members of our campus community can participate alongside the student curricular offering now in place.

Details

• Rehearsals: Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting January 6, 2026, rehearsing 4:30-5:20 pm throughout Spring semester
• Performances: The ensemble will perform on campus twice this semester. Spring performance dates are March 15th and April 25th.
• Rehearsal Location: Hahn Hall, Room 152 in the Music Instruction Building
• Participants: Staff, Faculty, Emeriti, Administrators, and Alumni
• Cost: $75

Requirements

No audition is needed. No prior choral experience is required (though welcomed, of course!)
