Ball State’s University Choral Union

Course Description

Ball State University Choral Union is motivated by the wealth of information that affirms the many physical, mental, social, and emotional benefits of choral singing to include broader access to this activity on the Ball State campus. In addition, our entire community can benefit from intergenerational, cooperative activities. We are working to make this ensemble truly UNIVERSITY choral UNION. Members of our campus community can participate alongside the student curricular offering now in place.

Details

• Rehearsals: Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting August 21, rehearsing 4:30-5:20 pm throughout the fall semester
• Performances: The ensemble will perform on campus 2-3 times each semester. Fall performance dates are November 1 and December 7.
• Rehearsal Location: Hahn Hall, room 163 in the Music Instruction Building
• Participants: Staff, Faculty, Emeriti, and Administrators
• Cost: $75

Requirements

No audition is needed. No prior choral experience is required (though welcomed, of course!)
