Course Description
The PMI RMP certification is an industry-recognized vendor-neutral credential that validates your project management skills. The PMI Risk Management certification is targeted at project management professionals who provide expertise in the specialized area of assessing and identifying project risks along with preparation plans. The RMP exam verifies professionals' expertise in risk strategy and planning; stakeholder engagement, risk process facilitation, risk monitoring, and reporting; perform specialized, and risk analysis.
Certification exam fee NOT included.

Education Requirements
- Path A: Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate's degree, or the global equivalent)
- Path B: Four-year degree
- Path C: Bachelor's or postgraduate degree from a GAC accredited program
Experience Requirements
Without a four-year degree:
- A minimum of 36 months (three years) of professional project risk management within the last five consecutive years
With a four-year degree:
- A minimum of 24 months (two years) of professional project risk management within the last five consecutive years
With a degree from a GAC accredited program:
- A minimum of 12 months (one year) of professional project risk management within the last five consecutive years
- 30 contact hours of formal education in the specialized area of project risk management
Optional Volunteer Externship Opportunity
Learners who complete this program are eligible to participate in an optional volunteer externship opportunity with a local company/agency/organization whose work aligns with this area of study in order to gain valuable hands-on experience. As learners progress through their eLearning program, an Externship Coordinator will reach out to coordinate placement.
