Course Description
This 8-week course prepares you to reach your English language proficiency score goals by preparing for standardized English language proficiency tests. The course will review test question types in these four categories: reading, listening, speaking and writing. The class will provide test preparation exercises as well as individual feedback from the instructor. Skills learned in the course will not only assist students to prepare for English language proficiency tests, but also assist students to prepare for all academic and professional goals in an English language environment. After completing the course, students will have a better understanding of their own readiness for the chosen test. If requested, the instructor will help students with the process to apply for the desired test.

Instructor Bio
Nell Rose Hill, PhD has taught English language in higher education since 2005. Dr. Hill received a Ph.D. in English, specializing in composition and TESOL, from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2019. Her hobbies include reading, cycling, and traveling.
